Nothing screams spring like colorful flowers and fresh blooms! And we can’t think of a more suiting way to praise the plethora of petals popping up along our path than by raising a cocktail or two in their honor!
Light and bright botanical cocktails are as delicious as they are beautiful, and we think they’re the perfect way to welcome in the changing of the seasons! Check out some of our favorite spring cocktails and get ready for a taste of sunshine!
Ginger-Peach Spring Fling
Ingredients
- 2 oz Peach Vodka
- 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 3/4 oz Ginger Syrup
- 1/2 oz Triple Sec
- Club soda
- Peach slices, for garnish
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
Directions
- In a shaker, combine the peach vodka, fresh lemon juice, ginger syrup, and triple sec with ice.
- Shake vigorously until chilled and strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
- Top with club soda and stir gently.
- Garnish with fresh peach slices and mint leaves.
Water Lily
Ingredients
- 3⁄4 oz. triple sec
- 3⁄4 oz. crème de violette
- 3⁄4 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 3⁄4 oz. gin
- Strip of orange zest, for garnish
Directions
- Combine triple sec, crème de violette, lemon juice, and gin into a cocktail shaker filled with ice; shake vigorously and strain into a coupe.
- Garnish with orange zest.
The Bootlegger
Ingredients
Mix yields 4 servings
- ½ cup fresh lemon juice (about 3 large lemons, juiced)
- ¼ cup fresh lime juice (about 1 large or 2 medium limes, juiced)
- ¼ cup light agave nectar
- 2 packed tablespoons fresh mint leaves
Per drink
Directions
- To make the bootleg mix: Juice the lemons and limes into a liquid measuring cup. Add sweetener. Pour the juice and sweetener into a blender. Add 2 firmly packed tablespoons of fresh mint leaves. Blend thoroughly, until the mint is broken into tiny bits.
- To make the drinks: Fill cocktail glasses with ice. For each drink, pour in 2 ounces of your bootleg mix, plus 2 ounces of vodka and top with 2 ounces club soda. Serve with a straw, which doubles as a stirring device.
Lime Cucumber Cosmo
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz cucumber vodka
- ½ oz triple sec
- ¼ oz fresh lime juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- 1 oz 100% cranberry juice
- extra lime wedge for garnish
Directions
- Measure all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously.
- Strain into a martini glass and garnish with lime wedge.
Russian Spring
Ingredients
- ¾ oz vodka
- ½ oz lemon juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- ¼ oz créme de cassis (black currant liqueur)
- 1 ½ oz dry sparkling wine
- Edible pansy flower, for garnish (optional)
Directions
- In a punch glass, combine all ingredients except garnish over 2 ice cubes.
