So, in keeping with the idea of minimal ingredients, and to keep you from getting stuck behind the bar making complicated cocktails all weekend, we’ve put together a collection of 3-ingredient cocktails guaranteed to keep you and your guests having a great time without wasting all of yours!
10 Three-Ingredient Cocktails
1. Limoncello Lady
Ingredients
- 3 oz. Prosecco
- 1 oz. Limoncello
- 2 oz. Lemonade
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
Directions
- Slice your lemons for your garnish.
- Combine the limoncello and lemonade in a glass.
- Add ice to the top.
- When ready to serve, top with prosecco.
- Garnish with lemon slice or twist.
2. Americano
Ingredients
- 1½ oz. Campari
- 1½ oz. Sweet vermouth
- Soda water to top
- Orange for garnish
Directions
- Fill a highball glass with ice. Add Campari and vermouth, and top generously with soda, taking care not to exceed a 1:1:2 ratio.
- Garnish with an orange slice or twist.
3. Szarlotka (Polish Apple Pie Cocktail)
Ingredients
- 1½ oz. Żubrówka vodka
- Unfiltered apple juice
Directions
- Pour vodka into highball glass over ice. Add apple juice to taste.
4. Flamingo
Ingredients
- 2 oz. English-style white rum
- ¾ oz. Fresh lime juice
- 3 oz. Grapefruit soda
- 1 slice Lime
Directions
- Combine rum and juice in a cocktail shaker and fill with ice; shake until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass and fill with ice; add soda and garnish with lime.
5. Watermelon Margarita
Ingredients
- 2½ oz. Silver tequila
- 1¼ cups Watermelon juice
- 2½ tbsp. Lime juice
- Sea salt (optional)
Directions
- Pack a large blender full of cubed ripe watermelon (with or without seeds) and blend until you have a juice. One small watermelon should yield roughly 3-5 cups, so you will have leftover juice for extra margaritas.
- To make margaritas, add watermelon juice, lime juice, tequila and a handful of ice to a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously to combine. Sample a small amount and adjust flavor as needed, adding more watermelon juice for sweetness, lime juice for acidity, or tequila for booziness.
- Line the rim of two serving glasses with lime juice and sea salt (optional). Add ice and pour over margaritas.
6. Sidecar
Ingredients
- 1½ oz. chilled VSOP Cognac
- ½ oz. Grand Marnier
- ⅓ oz. Fresh lemon juice
Directions
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the Cognac, Grand Marnier and lemon juice and shake well.
- Double strain the drink into a chilled coupe.
7. Satsuma Orange Jubilee
Ingredients
- 6 oz. Satsuma Orange Liqueur
- 12 oz. Lemon-lime soda
- Fresh Lime Wedges (for garnish)
- Orange segments (for garnish)
Directions
- Mix the Satsuma Orange Liqueur and the lemon-lime soda.
- Divide between two glasses and pour over ice.
- Stir to combine. Do not Shake because of the carbonation.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and an orange segment.
8. Pineapple Bourbon Lemonade
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Bourbon
- 4 oz. Pineapple juice (fresh is best)
- 1 oz. Lemon juice (fresh squeezed)
- Pineapple and lemon (for garnish)
Directions
- Mix the pineapple juice, bourbon, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker.
- Fill your glass with ice.
- Pour the pineapple bourbon lemonade over the ice cubes.
- Garnish with fresh pineapple and lemon.
9. Margarita Beer Shandy
Ingredients
- 1 oz. Blanco Tequila
- 12 oz. Beer (a lager preferably)
- 2 oz. Limeade
- Lime slices (for garnish)
Directions
- Mix the tequila and the limeade.
- Pour into your glass.
- Add your beer.
- Garnish with lime.
10. Margarita Sorbet Float
Ingredients
- 3 oz. Tequila
- 1 oz. Water
- 3 scoops Lime sorbet
Directions
- Salt the rim of a glass and fill with tequila and water.
- Add lime sorbet and enjoy!
